19th October
I am surprised that so many of you remembered my birthday. Thank you very very much. All those wishes made my day despite the fact that I was down with throat infection. Coffee nut as usual was outstanding!

The economy witnesses a pyramid boom
A television documentary presented evidence against the popular belief that the pyramids were built using slave labor. Archaeologists have found the tombs of pyramid workers which give the impression of a decent and respectful homage implying importance rather than the simple unattended grave that one would assume a slave would have as a final resting abode. Reconstructing the skeletal remains found in these tombs reveal that the men, the pyramid workers, buried there were in fact Egyptian. Evidence found in the worker’s quarters near the pyramids, show that these workers were well looked after, given generous rations of food and fed meat everyday. Moreover they were also given enough medical attention. Their broken bones were mended, even the possibility of the earliest brain surgery known to man cannot be ruled out.
So I guess, the pyramids weren’t built by slave labor after all. It probably could ve been a prestigious job for the young men in ancient Egypt to vie for, much like the thousands of jobs created by the IT industry in recent times. I can imagine a proud Egyptian mother saying “oh! My son works at the pyramids!”
